Vice President, Ambulatory Care Services

Promesa Systems, Inc. is a Community Development Corporation that serves the under-served in the areas of health, education, employment, economic and community development and housing.  Located in the Bronx, NY, Promesa enables residents in urban settings utilizing its services to become self-sufficient citizens who contribute to the quality of life in their communities.  

Promesa is seeking a hands-on VP for Ambulatory Care Services to manage its multi-site, Article 28 Primary care practice and growing Methadone, HIV testing/counseling and AIDS day treatment programs.  These expanding programs currently serve a population of 9,000.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations such as patient flow and retention, provider interactions, front and back office operations, governmental and managed care benefits, quality and risk management skills, and performing marketing and community outreach.  

Qualifications include extensive operational experience in an Article 28 facility setting, experience with JCAHO, and demonstrated supervisory experience.  Clinical Background (RN/NP) strongly preferred; bilingual capacity Spanish/English preferred.  Competitive salary, benefits and incentives.
