Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery Specialists, PC (ONS) is a 14-physician group practice located in Greenwich, CT. IHC initially assisted this large orthopedic and neurological surgery practice in assessing the operational complexities of merging three separate groups. IHC assessed general business management practices and areas currently in need of improvement or at risk of developing problems in the near future. The results of the analysis included a series of recommendations to improve the functioning of the business office. IHC further evaluated and helped to define organizational structure for partners and management and assisted in the implementation of these strategies. |
| In addition, IHC assisted ONS with a marketing plan to expand its reach beyond the original catchment area. Options included developing relationships with a specialty orthopedic hospital in NYC and structuring relationships with two local community hospitals. Both efforts resulted in increased volume and throughput to the practice. |
