Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates (Ob/Gyn Associates) is a prominent 6-physician Ob/Gyn practice located in Stamford, Connecticut. Several of the physicians are acknowledged regularly in Top-Doctor lists of publications such as New York Magazine and Connecticut Magazine. IHC performed both a practice assessment and an implementation for Ob/Gyn Associates. Highlights of the implementation include the development of a governance structure delineating decision-making powers, and the improvement of physician productivity through increasing the capacity of the practice to see patients, for example, by expanding office hours. Upon completion of the implementation, the practice retained IHC's practice management services for a period of over two years. As a result of these efforts, Ob/Gyn Associates was able to pay off over $500,000 in debt and accumulate an additional $120,000 in profits. Since that time, IHC has assisted with various efforts, including recruitment and transition management. |
