Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong interest in health care, with some internship experience with a health care organization desirable
  • Exceptional analytical skills—defined in terms of critical thinking and problem-solving, in addition to computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred

Job Description

Assist Project Consultants and Managers in conducting client projects.  These projects involve performance assessment and improvement for hospitals and health systems, physician practices and universities. Improvement goals include strategic, organizational, operational and financial aspects.  Specific job tasks typically include:

  • Data collection, management and scrubbing
  • Client interviews and management of relationships with junior staff
  • Performing research on relevant clinical and operational issues
  • Preparation of operational and financial analyses, using Excel and other PC-based computer programs
  • Development of client presentations
