William Tseng, Consultant
Mr. Tseng earned his Master's Degree in Public Health from
the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Mr. Tseng has assessed the financial positions of several OB/GYN physician
practices in Connecticut and New York State. Utilizing national benchmarks,
he has compared and ranked the practice’s key financial indicators –
revenue, expense, and productivity.
For the Pediatric Department of a major NYC-based
academic medical center, Mr. Tseng assisted with the analyses of MD
productivity, space utilization, and process flow, and helped with the
development of recommendations for improvement. Chief among his
recommendations was the establishment of an incentive-based compensation
model aimed at increasing productivity.
Prior to joining IHC, Mr. Tseng worked at Beth Israel
Medical Center where he analyzed Operating Room processes, including reasons
for delays, and developed a process diagram for the patient record flow in
the Emergency Department to determine opportunities for improvement.
